ENHANCED 2018 KINDNESS SHIRT DESIGN

The CKM has decided to make a change to the 2018 Kindness Shirt.
Many have expressed how much they LOVE the Idaho design. We do too! We really loved the 2017 design, but still felt like we needed to do something different to still make it feel like a NEW DESIGN for 2018. The students LOVE to get a new design each year. Our Directors have voted and we hope you all like the enhancement.

Thank you for your support in spreading the word about our Idaho Gives campaign! These several weeks have been a whirlwind preparing for Idaho Gives, and we sometimes forget to stop and think about what you’ve helped us accomplish. Your support of the Community Kindness Movement has made our ANNUAL KINDNESS PROGRAM possible, and we can never forget that!

Tomorrow will be a big day for us, and we want to share in that success with you. We look forward to even more #KINDNESS we’ll be able to give to more kids in our Idaho Schools after we reach our goal!

Remember, we can’t do this without you. Here are 3 easy things you can do tomorrow:

  2. Share our important work with your friends and family on Facebook, Twitter, or other social channels using #TheCKM and the hashtag #IdahoGives. You can also go to our FB Page CLICK HERE  and share our link with your FB Friends. We would really appreciate that.
  3. Send an email sharing your enthusiasm for  the Community Kindness Movement and #IdahoGives to your friends, colleagues, and family members. We’d love if they would support us, but we also want everyone to support whatever inspires them.

Thank you again for your support of the Community Kindness Movement – let’s make history tomorrow!

New Design 2

NEW 2016-17 THEME AND DESIGN:

We are excited to introduce the 2016-2017 Kindness Theme this year. We loved last year’s Tidal Wave Theme and believe that we experienced a Kindness Tidal Wave here in Pocatello and Chubbuck last year.  The new theme for 2016-17 School Year is: “Kindness Comes Around FULL Circle!”. The theme ties into the 2016 Kindness T-Shirt design.

SPONSORS:

We want to thank all our continuing sponsors and new sponsors. If our are a new sponsor and we have not received your logo, please send it to CommunityKindnessMovement@gmail.com. If we are still awaiting your business’s sponsorship donation, the deadline is August 20th. We greatly appreciate all of our sponsors. We know that your support makes this all possible for our kids. We highly recomActs-of-Kindness-Week-2016-17mend dedicating a school bulletin board to help remind the students of the theme each day. Each morning have the teachers discuss the Act of Kindness that day and give examples of ways that the students can perform them.

  • DIY Kindness Assembly – Click Here
    • With the information on this page you can plan your own Kindness Assembly Kick-off at your school!
  • Kindness Video – Click Here
    • We will be using our locally produced Kindness Video from 2015-2016 school year. We will be updating and making current editing changes. We will have it ready for the 2016-2017 school year. We recommend showing the Kindness Video on Monday, the first day of Kindness Week, in a classroom setting for all students to see. We highly recommend teachers facilitating a discussion about what the students saw in the video. The video is a great resource in helping students visualize the reason why we are celebrating a Kindness Week and what the Kindness T-Shirts represent.  The video shows how one child acted upon a kind thought and how that one kind action grew into a ripple effect spreading throughout the entire school. We hope that you will see your school experience a kindness ripple effect. Once we have the current updates to the Kindness Video we will send out a link to view.
